What organ in the human body does the ureter connect the kidney to?

The question mentions two structures that are part of our excretory system. The primary purpose of the excretory system is to remove, or excrete, metabolic waste from the body. The kidneys are a very important part of this system. It is their job to filter blood and remove waste products. Blood that needs to be filtered enters the kidneys via the renal artery. And once it has been filtered, the blood will leave the kidneys via the renal vein. Waste products removed by the filtration of blood eventually form urine. The ureter is a tube that transports this urine. The ureter connects each kidney to the bladder, and it is here that urine is stored before it is ready to be excreted from the body.

Looking back at our question, we are asked to name the organ that the ureter connects the kidney to. We now know that this organ is the bladder.
