Fill in the blank: negative three minus two minus three equals blank.

Our first step here is to work out the calculation in the bracket or parentheses, negative three minus two. When subtracting, we need to move down our number line. In this case, we start at negative three and move two places down the number line. This takes us to negative five. Therefore, negative three minus two is equal to negative five.

Our calculation, therefore, becomes negative five minus three. If we move another three places down our number line, we reach negative eight. Negative five minus three is equal to negative eight. This means that negative three minus two minus three is equal to negative eight.
