There are 10 rabbits in this field, but some of them are hiding. How many are hiding?

We know there are 10 rabbits. We know that some rabbits are hiding. Let’s count how many rabbits are still in the field: one, two, three, four, five, six.

We can switch these two numbers. If we work out 10 take away six, this will tell us how many rabbits are hiding. 10 take away six is four. Four rabbits are hiding.
