Objectives
Students will be able to
- recognize that the gram is a smaller unit of measuring mass than the kilogram,
- estimate the masses of objects in grams,
- read scales to measure the masses of objects in grams.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- estimating and measuring the masses of objects in kilograms.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- converting grams to kilograms.
