Lesson Plan: Resultant of Two Forces Mathematics

Objectives
Students will be able to
- find the magnitude and direction of the resultant of two forces acting at the same point,
- find a missing force given the resultant and the other force acting at a point,
- find a missing angle given the resultant and the magnitude of the two forces acting at a point.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- trigonometric ratios,
- the Pythagorean theorem.
