Objectives

Students will be able to

read and interpret a pictograph with a scale of 2, 5, or 10,
solve put-together and take-apart problems about data in a pictograph,
explain the meaning of scale in a pictograph,
create a pictograph from a data table.

Prerequisites

Students should already be familiar with

reading pictographs where each picture represents 1.

Exclusions

Students will not cover

bar graphs.
