Objectives
Students will be able to
- read and interpret a pictograph with a scale of 2, 5, or 10,
- solve put-together and take-apart problems about data in a pictograph,
- explain the meaning of scale in a pictograph,
- create a pictograph from a data table.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- reading pictographs where each picture represents 1.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- bar graphs.
