Objectives
Students will be able to
- list multiples to find the common denominator of a pair of fractions,
- convert two fractions so that they have a common denominator and then compare them,
- compare two fractions with the same numerator.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- identifying common denominators,
- finding equivalent fractions,
- comparing two fractions with the same denominator.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- comparing fractions greater than one.
