compare two objects by length by comparing them both to a third object,
write comparison statements comparing two objects,
order three objects using indirect comparison.

Prerequisites

Students should already be familiar with

directly comparing objects by length,
the terms taller, shorter, and longer,
the terms tallest, shortest, and longest.

Exclusions

Students will not cover

measuring objects,
indirect comparisons of more than 3 objects.
