Objectives

Students will be able to

  • compare two objects by length by comparing them both to a third object,
  • write comparison statements comparing two objects,
  • order three objects using indirect comparison.

Prerequisites

Students should already be familiar with

  • directly comparing objects by length,
  • the terms taller, shorter, and longer,
  • the terms tallest, shortest, and longest.

Exclusions

Students will not cover

  • measuring objects,
  • indirect comparisons of more than 3 objects.
