Lesson Plan

Students will be able to

state that hormones are chemicals that coordinate and regulate responses within the body,
state that hormones are secreted by ductless glands called endocrine glands,
locate and name examples of endocrine glands in the human body (pituitary gland, adrenal gland, thyroid gland, ovaries, testes, and pancreas),
state that hormones travel through the bloodstream and act on target cells/organs in other parts of the body, using GH and adrenaline as examples.
