Students will be able to
- state that hormones are chemicals that coordinate and regulate responses within the body,
- state that hormones are secreted by ductless glands called endocrine glands,
- locate and name examples of endocrine glands in the human body (pituitary gland, adrenal gland, thyroid gland, ovaries, testes, and pancreas),
- state that hormones travel through the bloodstream and act on target cells/organs in other parts of the body, using GH and adrenaline as examples.
