In this lesson, we will learn how to identify and name some three-dimensional shapes based on the number of their faces, edges, and vertices.

Students will be able to

visualize 3D shapes—namely, prisms, cubes, cuboids, tetrahedrons, pyramids, cylinders, cones, spheres, and hemispheres,
recognize the properties of 3D shapes, including those of their faces, edges, and vertices,
use isometric paper to draw 3D shapes made from cubes.
