The symbol ℕ in the question, as previously stated, means the natural numbers. These are also sometimes referred to as the counting numbers. They include zero, one, two, three, and all the following positive integers or whole numbers. We’re told that 𝑥 is less than 27. This means it can take any value up to 27. As 𝑥 is limited to the natural numbers, 𝑥 could be equal to zero, one, two, all the way up to and including 26. Our solution set does not include 27 as 𝑥 needs to be less than 27.
