Let’s first figure out how much he actually grew within those 15 months. So we take 54 minus 45 and get nine. So there were nine inches grown. And it was over a span of 15 months. So if we wanna know how much he is growing per month, we need to take 15 months and divide by nine inches. So we would get 1.7. So he would grow 1.7 inches per month.

Therefore, every month he grows 1.7 inches.
