Complete three-halves compared to twenty-five halves using less than, equal to, or greater than.

When we compare fractions, our first step is to check for a common denominator. Both of these fractions have a denominator of two. Once you’ve made sure that you have the same denominator for both of your fractions, you can compare the numerators.

In this case, we’re comparing three and 25. Three is less than 25. And that means three-halves will be less than twenty-five halves.

Three-halves are less than twenty-five halves.
