Objectives
Students will be able to
- multiply numbers with up to three digits by 10, 100, and 1,000,
- describe how the value of each digit changes when multiplying by 10, 100, and 1,000,
- find missing numbers in multiplication sentences,
- compare multiplication sentences.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- the place value of numbers up to 100,000.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- multiplying three-digit numbers by 10, 100, or 1,000,
- dividing by 10, 100, and 1,000.
