Objectives
Students will be able to
- identify the greatest and least number from a set of two or more numbers,
- order sets of four-digit numbers from least to greatest or from greatest to least,
- use number lines to order 4-digit numbers,
- make the greatest or least possible number from a set of digits.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- comparing two 4-digit numbers on a number line,
- comparing two 4-digit numbers by considering the place value of digits.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- comparing and ordering numbers with more than 4 digits.
