  • read and write time to the hour on an analog clock,
  • write a time to the hour in digital form when given the time in words (e.g., seven o’clock = 7:00),
  • identify the analog and digital clocks that show the same time (to the hour).

Prerequisites

Students should already be familiar with

  • analog clocks,
  • digital clocks,
  • times expressed in words (e.g., twelve o’clock),
  • written numerals through 12.

Exclusions

Students will not cover

  • times written to the half hour or quarter hour,
  • elapsed time,
  • am or pm.
