Objectives

- find missing numbers in partially complete solutions,
- identify errors in solutions.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- using area models to multiply three-digit numbers by one-digit numbers,
- partitioning numbers into hundreds, tens, and ones.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- standard column multiplication.
