Objectives
Students will be able to
- describe 2D shapes using informal language,
- identify a shape based on a description,
- describe the differences and similarities between two shapes.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- naming squares, rectangles, triangles, circles, and hexagons.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- defining sides (as straight sides) and vertices.
