Objectives
Students will be able to
- express percentages between 0 and as proper fractions,
- express percentages greater than as improper fractions or mixed numbers,
- perform basic arithmetic with percentages and convert the result to a fraction,
- solve word problems involving converting percentages to fractions.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- percentages,
- proper and improper fractions and mixed numbers.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- fractions to percentages,
- decimals,
- ordering numbers,
- irrational numbers.
