Objectives
Students will be able to
- write numbers with four decimal places in standard form,
- state the place value of the digits in numbers with four decimal places,
- write numbers with four decimal places in expanded form,
- round numbers with four decimal places to the nearest thousandth.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- place value of decimals with up to three decimal places.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- numbers greater than 1 000,
- numbers with more than four decimal places.
