Objectives
Students will be able to
- add together two groups of different objects,
- add in situations of putting together,
- use concrete and pictorial models to represent addition,
- write sentences like “2 and 3 is 5.”
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- counting to 10.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- using the addition symbol.
