Objectives
Students will be able to
- draw number lines to represent decimals and fractions with a denominator of 10,
- state the position of a decimal number with a denominator of 10 on a number line,
- count in tenths on number lines.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- place values of decimals (e.g., the digit 2 in 0.2 has a value of two-tenths).
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- place value models.
