Prerequisites

Students should already be familiar with

  • square numbers and square roots.

Exclusions

Students will not cover

  • cubes of rational numbers,
  • cube roots of nonperfect cubes,
  • fourth powers or higher,
  • algebraic notation,
  • calculations involving order of operations and cube numbers.
