Prerequisites

Students should already be familiar with

  • counting in 2s up to 20, in 3s up to 30, and in 5s and 10s within 50,
  • adding equal groups.

Exclusions

Students will not cover

  • writing repeated addition sentences for an array,
  • the multiplication symbol.
