Objectives

Students will be able to

  • define the engineering design process,
  • describe the steps in the engineering design process,
  • describe the importance of each step in the process,
  • apply the engineering design process steps to real-life engineering examples.

Prerequisites

Students should already be familiar with

  • external body parts of birds,
  • needs of the plants,
  • measuring tools and units.
