Students will be able to
- describe the possible configurations for two lines in space: parallel, intersecting, or neither (i.e., skew),
- understand and visualize how three noncollinear points or two intersecting lines define a plane,
- describe the possible configurations of a line and a plane: a line and a plane intersecting at a point, a line included in the plane, a line parallel to the plane but not included (thus not intersecting),
- identify the intersection between a plane and a line or between two or three planes.
