Lesson: Solubility Product Chemistry

Students will be able to

• explain the concept of solubility in greater depth,
• explain the relationship between the solubility product and the product of the ion concentration,
• use calculations to evaluate and compare the solubility of different insoluble salts,
• calculate the solubility product of different insoluble salts,
• calculate the concentration of ions in solution from the solubility product.
