Lesson: The Fundamental Theorem of Calculus: Evaluating Definite Integrals Mathematics

Students will be able to

• recall the second part of the fundamental theorem of calculus,
• understand that the second part of the fundamental theorem of calculus can be used to evaluate functions that are continuous over the closed interval , where and are the limits of integration,
• apply the second part of the fundamental theorem of calculus to evaluate definite integrals.
