Students will be able to

describe the sites of production and the action of amylases, proteases, and lipases,
explain the importance of enzymes in breaking down long molecules in digestion,
state the monomers of proteins, lipids, and carbohydrates as amino acids, glycerol and fatty acids, and sugars respectively.
