Objectives
Students will be able to
- read and write four-digit numbers using standard form,
- read and write four-digit numbers in expanded form,
- read and write four-digit numbers in word form,
- read and write four-digit numbers in terms of place value.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- place value of 4-digit numbers,
- representing 4-digit numbers using visual models,
- representing 3-digit numbers in standard form, expanded form, and word form and in terms of place value.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- comparing or ordering 4-digit numbers.
