Deforestation happens when large areas of trees are cleared. This can be caused by natural or man-made events. Which of the following is a natural event that causes deforestation? Logging, mining, cattle ranching, or hurricanes.

logging does cause deforestation. But logging is a man-made event. Mining is man-made as is cattle ranching. A hurricane is a natural event. It’s a storm. And major hurricanes can cause deforestation.

Out of these four events, only one of them is natural and that’s a hurricane.
