The numbers on the number line are 95, 85, and 75. To get from 95 to 85 on the number line, we need to count back 10 places. And to get from 85 to 75, we need to count back 10 more places. Two tens make 20. We started at 95 and we counted back 20. The difference between 95 and 75 is 20.
