Write the relation 𝑅 for the following diagram, where set 𝑋 contains the numbers six, 10, and 11 and set 𝑌 contains the numbers eight, 12, 13, and 28.

A relation 𝑅 from 𝑋 to 𝑌 is a set of ordered pairs 𝑎, 𝑏, where 𝑎 exists in set 𝑋 and 𝑏 exists in set 𝑌. Each arrow in the diagram represents an ordered pair in the relation 𝑅. The arrow from six to eight means that six, eight exists in the set 𝑅.

Likewise, the arrow from 10 to 12 shows that the ordered pair 10, 12 exists in 𝑅. And finally, the arrow from 11 to 13 shows that the ordered pair 11, 13 exists in 𝑅. Therefore, 𝑅 contains the three ordered pairs or coordinates: six, eight; 10, 12; and 11, 13.
