300s plus 100 equals blank. Our first equation is adding 300s and 100: three plus one. If we take 300s and add 100, we will end up with 400s.
Our second problem is asking the same question written in a different way. It also says 300 plus 100. However, this time it’s written with numbers instead of with words. Either way, the problem says 300 plus 100. And the final answer would be 400 — four-zero-zero.
