I’m thinking of an odd number that is more than seven and less than 10. What number is it?

We know that we’re looking for an odd number. We know that odd numbers end in a one, three, five, seven, or nine. We also know that our number is more than seven and less than 10. Our number can’t be number seven, even though it’s an odd number, because the number we’re looking for is more than seven. It can’t be number eight because number eight is an even number.

Could it be number nine? We know that nine is an odd number which is more than seven and less than 10. The odd number that is more than seven and less than 10 is number nine.
