We can partition 75 into 70 and five. Then, we can multiply three times 70 plus five. The distributive property means that we multiply each part. Three times 70 and three times five. And then we add both products together. We know that three times seven is 21, so three times 70 is 210. And three times five is 15. Now, we just need to add together both products, 210 plus 15. Zero and five is five. One plus one is two. And there is nothing to add to the two. Three times 75 is 225.
