Video Transcript

Find one intersection 11.

This upside-down U stands for intersection. The intersection of two sets is the set of elements that belong to both sets. So if we have a set that includes one and a set that includes 11, they don’t both include the same number. So they have nothing in common. So this means their intersection would be the empty set. Also known as the null set, because there are no elements in it.
