What is the range of the following numbers? Seven, five, six, four, two, and two.

We can calculate the range of any set of numbers by subtracting the lowest value from the highest value. In this question, the highest value is seven. The lowest value in the data set is two, which appears twice. We can therefore calculate the range by subtracting two from seven. This is equal to five. So the range of the six numbers is five.
