What comes next? There are four patterns in this sequence, four circles. We start with a circle with a dot in the centre. Then, we have a circle with a cross in the centre. Then, a circle with a diagonal cross, followed by another circle with a dot.
This sequence repeats itself. So, once we get to the end, we have to start over. We go back to the beginning. So, the fifth pattern in the sequence would be a circle with a dot in the centre. This is the circle which would come next in the sequence. First, we worked out the rule. And then, we found the next circle in the sequence.
