The line graph shows the marks that 40 students received in a mathematics test. Using the information from the graph, complete the frequency table.

The first point on the line graph shows that seven students scored between 10 and 19 marks. The second point tells us that 11 students scored between 20 and 29 marks. The third point tells us that 12 students scored between 30 and 39 marks. And finally, the fourth point shows that 10 students scored between 40 and 49 marks.

We were already told that there were 40 students in total. We can check this by adding seven, 11, 12, and 10. As these four numbers add up to 40, we know that our answer is correct. The line graph shows us that there were seven, 11, 12, and 10 students, respectively, in the four groups.
