The first box is the hundreds box. And then, we have the tens place and the units place. When we write a number out, we write the hundreds, tens, and then the units.

This number has seven hundreds. It has a seven in the hundreds place. It has five tens. We put a five in the tens place. There are nine units. So we put the digit nine in the units place.
