How many square faces does this shape have?

Do you know the name of this 3D shape? It’s a cuboid. We need to count how many square faces it has. The word face is another way of saying side. This is a face. Cuboids have six faces. Their faces can be a square or a rectangle.

We need to count the number of square faces. We’ve already colored this square face. Can you see the other square face? The other square face is opposite at the back of the shape. So this cuboid has two square faces. We looked for the square faces and shaded them to help us count how many there were altogether.
