Does the measure of any angle in a rectangle equal 45 degrees?
First of all, let’s think about what we know about properties of rectangles. If we sketch a rectangle, we remember that a rectangle is a quadrilateral, a four-sided figure, where opposite sides are parallel and opposite sides are equal in length. In addition to that, we know that all four angles in a rectangle are right angles. This means that every angle inside a rectangle measures 90 degrees. And it means we can clearly say that no angles inside a rectangle equal 45 degrees.
