If the velocity of 𝐴 relative to 𝐵 is equal to negative 76𝐢 and the velocity of 𝐴 is equal to negative five 𝐢, find the velocity of 𝐵.

We know that the velocity of 𝐴 relative to 𝐵 is equal to the velocity of 𝐴 minus the velocity of 𝐵. Substituting in the values from the question, we have negative 76𝐢 is equal to negative five 𝐢 minus the velocity of 𝐵. We can add the velocity of 𝐵 and 76𝐢 to both sides of our equation. This gives us that the velocity of 𝐵 is equal to negative five 𝐢 plus 76𝐢. This is equal to 71𝐢. If the velocity of 𝐴 relative to 𝐵 is equal to negative 76𝐢, the velocity of 𝐴 is equal to five 𝐢, then the velocity of 𝐵 is equal to 71𝐢.
