Which of these numbers are even? One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10.

We have to find the even numbers. An even number is a number which can be divided into equal groups of two without any remainders. One is an odd number, but two is even. We can divide two into one equal group of two. Three is an odd number. We can make one group of two, but we have a remainder. Two and one makes three. Four is an even number. We can divide four into two groups of two: two, four. Five is an odd number. We can make five from two groups of two and one more: two, four, five. Six is an even number. We can make six of three groups of two. Seven is an odd number. Three groups of two makes six, and one leftover makes seven. Eight is even. Four groups of two makes eight. Nine is an odd number. Four groups of two makes eight, and one more makes nine. And 10 is an even number. Five groups of two makes 10: two, four, six, eight, 10.

These are the even numbers: two, four, six, eight, and 10. The numbers which are even are two, four, six, eight, and 10. Even numbers can be divided into equal groups of two. Odd numbers have a remainder when we divide them into groups of two. So we can see the numbers which are even are two, four, six, eight, and 10.
