If I roll a regular six-sided die, what is the probability that the score is two?

So we’re going to roll this regular six-sided die and try to find out the probability that we roll a two. Our probability of rolling a two is equal to the number of ways we can roll a two over the total number of outcomes.

If we’re only rolling one regular sided die, the number of ways to roll a two is one. On this die, there is only one number two. But the die is six-sided. So the total number of outcomes is six. The probability of rolling a score of two is one out of six.
