What is the probability of rolling a number smaller than two on a regular dice?
A regular dice is in the shape of a cube. Here are the six faces of a regular dice: one, two, three, four, five, and six. So, the question is asking, what is the probability of rolling a number smaller than two on a regular dice? Well, the only one that is smaller than two on this regular dice would be one.
So, again to find this probability, we’ll take the number of faces with a number smaller than two and divide it by the total number of faces on a regular dice. So, as we said before, only one of them has a number that’s smaller than two. And there are a total of six faces.
So, the probability of rolling a number smaller than two on a regular dice would be one-sixth.
